I am a saxophonist, educator, and clinician based in Austin, Texas, with over ten years of experience as a saxophonist and five years experience as an educator and clinician.
I received my Bachelor’s of Music in Performance from the University of Memphis in 2024, studying under Dr. Michael Shults. While attending the University of Memphis, I had the honor of winning the University Concerto Competition, culminating in a performance with the University Symphony Orchestra. I also attended the North American Saxophone Alliance’s collegiate quartet competition semi-final round with the Highland Quartet.
I am currently pursuing my Master’s of Music in Performance at The University of Texas at Austin’s Butler School of Music, under the direction of Dr. Stephen Page. At the Butler School of Music, I am an active member with the Wind Ensemble under the baton of Professor Jerry Junkin. I have also participated in the New Music Ensemble under Dr. Marc Sosnowchik, as well as in multiple recording projects as both a musician and engineer. In addition, I returned to the North American Saxophone Alliance’s collegiate quartet competition’s semi-final round with my Austin-based quartet, MALUS.
As an educator, my students have seen success in both the TMEA and UIL all-region and all-district bands, state solo and ensemble competitions, and the Coltman Chamber Music Festival and Houston Underground youth saxophone competitions.
As a clinician, I have worked with the Camdenton and Round Rock High School marching band as a marching clinician, including traveling alongside the band to competitions and festivals. I will be working with the Nashville Scrapper Band, the Camdenton High School Band, and the Round Rock High School Dragon Band in 2026.
